چکیده
Background: MRSA is a type of MDR bacterium. All around the world, it leads to significant nosocomial and community-acquired diseases. The discovery fresh ideas very important because there are so few effective treatments for infections. PBP2a great candidate development MRSA-specific Mabs. Aim: purpose this study was create murine Mabs against in order enhance laboratory detection possibly treatment. Methods: Anti-PBP2a MAb tested biodistribution, therapeutic, preventative effects comparison vancomycin. After receiving anti-PBP2a therapy, biodistribution assessed between 12 96 hours later. Results: During observation timepoints, majority generated stayed serum just tiny fraction found kidneys, lungs, spleen. A prophylactic experiment mice given lethal dosage 50 (LD50) that treated animals with had greater survival rate than control group. In therapeutic experiment, one reduced bacterial load kidneys similarly group five doses vancomycin, combination therapy vancomycin more either drug used alone. Conclusion: findings suggested an may be extremely useful creation innovative diagnostic tools promising measures

Potential of monoclonal antibodies to improve therapeutic monitoring of cyclosporine.
We show that monitoring of cyclosporine by immunoassay could be improved by using monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) of restricted specificity instead of polyclonal antisera that recognize both unmodified cyclosporine and its metabolites. MAbs with high affinity for cyclosporine have been prepared and characterized. We tested their ability to discriminate between native cyclosporine and its metabolit...
متن کاملProduction and Partial Characterization of Monoclonal Antibodies to Leishmania
Background: Monoclonal antibody technology allows identification of amastigote-specific antigen in human tissue biopsies and search for a suitable vaccine candidate, which may induce a long lasting immunity. Objectives: Production and partial characterization of seven monoclonal antibodies against Leishmania tropica promstigotes. Methods: Seven murine monoclonal antibodies of the IgG isotype we...
متن کاملDevelopment of monoclonal antibodies against axenic amastigotes of Leishmania infantum strain in Iran: Implication for diagnosis of Kala-azar
Objective(s): Leishmaniasis is endemic in 88 countries. Amastigote forms of Leishmania are experts at exploiting host cell processes to establish infection. Monoclonal antibodies are key reagents used in the diagnosis of infectious and non-infectious diseases. The aim of this study was to produce monoclonal antibodies against axenic amastigotes of the Leishmania infantum strain in Iran.Material...
